Come visit when you have time :)
I just saw "Curse of the Golden Flower" at the Cinema a couple of days ago, and I think it's the best Asia movie ever.
Chow Yun-Fat (the dude with golden helmet in the middle) play his character very well.. Gee, shame fall upon me, but you can almost say i got a crush on him.. Like Alan Rickman, this dude got the look and a bucket lot of charisma. Gong Li (the beautiful lady in the right) also did very well, very smooth.. I think she and Chow are totally great in this movie! Jay Chou(on the left) is moderate :P He's so funny when he's screaming, raving mad, and waving his lance like crazy but in slow motion.
Anyway, the movie was sets on the replica of China's Forbidden City. Rumour has it that this is the most expensive movie ever made in China.
If you ever got a chance to see this movie. Go and see it!
It's cool, it's shiny (gold everywhere)... and it's great.
Advance Warnings: It's a Total Tragedy. Completely Loustrous Sets. It's a Boob fest. Jay Chou hair lookin' funny. Lot and lot of blood shed, completely violent.. so just prepare to close your eyes or something.. ;)
And then, i just found out that our dear J.K Rowling has reveal book seventh's title. It's called, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (whatever that suppose to mean). It might be released next year on 07/07/07. But who knows, it can be sooner ;) Just hope Snape is good, got more action (like in HBP) and JK don't kill him off or she shall found tons of Snape fans flooding her house with tears :P
Bored. Tired.
I absolutely hate Exam days.. 2 exams finished.. and there still a lot more to go... I must sounds like a whinner but well... i just hate exams!
Anyway,
I Just got a new PS 2 game called, BULLY.
It was amazing. I can hit people and do all sorts of students crime.Lots of violence. In real life, I never ever bully anyone or have a fight with people without purpose. So, this game is cool for me. I can be violent in the game world ;) and a good girl in real life! LOL!
And well.. i think i can sort of understand a bit why its controversial. Young children who was uncontrolled, free and sort of stupid, can learn bad things from the game. They can be violent and rude if they play this game.
Let's just hope that those children or anyone else who play this game will understand (like me :P) that it's just "game" and all sort of violent action and cursing remain acted on the game.
Finally, got a chance to post an entry about this topic! hehehe...
I was just, you-gotta-be-kidding-me state when i first heard the news.. It was just so.. Woah!
Sweeney Todd, the musical movie got Johnny Depp in it, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen (the guy who play Ali G and Borat). Other cast is still unknown... It'll be directed by no other than Tim Burton.
But some days ago, almost a week ago if i'm not mistaken, i download this Alan Rickman interview on Canadian talkshow, The Hour and almost by the end of the interview, he said that he's going to be in this movie too! He'll be playin' the antagonist character, Judge Turpin and more of it, he'll be singin' a duet with Johnny Depp! He'll sing!
ALAN RICKMAN + TEH VOICE + SINGIN' = *dies*.
I mean, have you heard him singin the song called, "Intelligence" in the animation "Help! I'm a fish"?! That song is like totally cool! Addictive!
Okay, frankly.. I'm sorry if i offended anyone, but I really don't give a damn about how Mr. Depp voice will sound or how he will play the role. I just wanna hear Alan singin'.. I mean that voice! Ughhh.. *drools* He never did any musical film before, right?
OH! And he'll be playing a VILLAIN agaiN! Since Robin Hood's Sheriff of Nottingham in 1992, he finally playing a villain AGAIN! *Shivers* This is going to be great! Absolutely GREAT!
I will be waiting for this flick to come out and with Warner Bros on it's back. I bet this movie will be released more widely and wholly than Perfume or Snow Cake (i mean although i have watched the pirated version, those two haven't been released in my country's cinema!) :P
Sweeney Todd will started its filming by the beginning of January 2007.
The Picture is Alan talking to Tim Burton on Perfume aftershow party at London a couple of days ago.
PS: I don't know how my english sounds... I am just rushing to post it and let the world know this great news! (like the world haven't find out about this like days ago..)
